Lovely villa in old Spanish hamlet
My husband and I, our kids, my parents and my brother and his baby all stayed in this lovely villa last summer.
The rooms are cool and airy. All the decor is crisp and white with traditional local features. There was a huge dining table inside that all the kids put their toys on but probably our favourite aspect to the house (and consequently, where we spent most of our time) was the outside living area.
The owners of the villa really made this the focus area and we ate breakfast, lunch and dinner out here and read on the comfy cushions - at all times able to watch the kids on the patio below or in the gorgeous infinity pool that juts out to the mountain on the other side.
If you like to stay somewhere a little more peaceful (and a little remote) with beautiful uninterrupted views and a lot more of the 'real' flavour of Spain - then this is the perfect place to stay.
We loved our week there!

A Beautiful and Peaceful Spot
We have been to this villa now for two years running. The surrounding area is really breath taking, unlike anywhere we have been before. They filmed the spaghetti westerns nearby in the national park and you can see why - epic scenery.
We loved the house, a perfect mix of comfort, stylish decor and an amazing infinity pool for luxury! A real break - getting away from it all, yet you can drive to visit so many thing nearby if you want. We were very happy relaxing by the pool for days. The kitchen had everything we needed and the outside seating area is brilliant for shade and evening relaxing.
There was a food festival happening in the nearby town of Bedar one year and a fiesta in the other nearby village on our second visit. Plenty to see and do, great trips up in to the mountains as well. Mojacar has great beach bars and fun and further a field there are more secluded bays to visit.
You do need a car or bikes to get around.
We would go every year if we could. We loved it.
